GymRiff helps users manage workout plans, active workouts, Wear OS workout flow, body data, statistics, backup and optional Coach guidance.
GymRiff Privacy Policy

GymRiff is a privacy-first workout tracker for Android phone and Wear OS. The app is designed so workout plans, workout history, body data, Coach settings and app settings stay under your control.
Data stored on your device
GymRiff stores workout plans, workout history, exercise data, body profile, body measurements, Coach settings, app settings and backup-related data locally on your device.
Wear OS companion
The Wear OS companion supports the workout flow from the watch. A workout plan can be sent from the Android phone app to the watch, workout actions can be recorded on the watch, and completed workout data can sync back to the phone.
Data we do not collect
GymRiff does not require a GymRiff account. GymRiff does not automatically upload your workout history or body data to a GymRiff cloud service. GymRiff does not sell your personal data. The current app design does not include advertising or third-party analytics features.
Backup and restore
If you use Full Backup, GymRiff creates a backup file that you choose to save, move or share. The backup file may contain workout plans, workout history, body profile, body data, app settings and other local app data. You are responsible for where you store or share that file.
Premium purchases
Premium purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. GymRiff does not receive or store your payment card details.
Third-party services
Some app features rely on Android, Wear OS or Google Play services. Google Play Billing handles premium purchases. Android system share, export, backup, restore and file selection features may be used when you choose those actions. Phone-watch communication is used to move workout plans and completed workout data between your own Android phone and Wear OS watch.
Data sharing
GymRiff does not sell your personal data. GymRiff does not share your workout history, body data, Coach settings or app settings with a GymRiff-operated cloud service. Data may leave the app only when you choose to export, back up, restore, move or share a file using Android system features, or when required for app functionality such as Google Play Billing.
Permissions
GymRiff only uses permissions and system features needed for app functionality. Depending on the feature used, Android system file selection, sharing, backup/export, restore and phone-watch communication may be used. GymRiff does not request access to contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone or camera for workout tracking.
Health and fitness information
GymRiff is a fitness tracking app, not a medical device. Workout data, body profile, body measurements, statistics, Coach suggestions and body metrics are intended as training context only. GymRiff does not provide diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, emergency monitoring or professional coaching.
Security
GymRiff is designed to keep workout data locally on your device. Backup files may contain personal workout and body data, so you should store and share them carefully. If Android, Wear OS or Google Play services process data for app functionality, those services handle that processing according to their own privacy and security practices.
User control and training safety
GymRiff Coach suggestions are guidance only. GymRiff does not replace personal judgement, safe training practices, medical advice, professional coaching, or a real spotter/training partner. No app can know exactly how your body feels on a given day.
No account and data deletion
GymRiff does not require or create a GymRiff user account. Because there is no GymRiff account, there is no separate GymRiff account deletion process. You can delete local app data from the app where available, from Android app storage settings, or by uninstalling the app, subject to device and system backup settings.
Children's privacy
GymRiff is not designed for children. The app is intended for users who can safely track gym training and understand workout-related information.
Play Store Data Safety
GymRiff's Google Play Data safety declarations are intended to match this privacy policy and the actual behaviour of the app. If GymRiff adds new data collection, sharing, permissions, analytics, advertising, cloud sync or account features, this policy and the Play Store declarations will be updated accordingly.
